Designing a Functional and stylish Home Decor Office

The ‘work from home’ culture is now trending everywhere people do not want to go office every day.

Companies know these things and they are offering work from home option to their employee. Now the important thing to know that a stylish Home décor is important for you.

Sofa cum bed

If you’re not decorating your home in a proper manner you cannot become productive at work. The first thing you have in your home is a sofa cum bed. So, the next question comes from you why?

The answer is why not, for example, you become tired and need some rest then it’s easy to convert into a bed. Once you take rest your body feels relax and even you want to work from the bed then you’re most welcome.

The best part is that the place doesn’t matter a well-designed room work anywhere.

Here, I’m going to tell a story of my friend who recently joined an MNC software company and His name is Akash. He works as a software developer and the company offers him 2- days’ work from home.

At the first day of his work from home Akash was happy and started his work after few hours he falls asleep. The work assigned to him didn’t accomplish on time and the next day he was scolded by his manager.

A few days back he met with me and told this story then I visited his flat and started observing his room.

I found that room was not properly arranged and even it was not clean.

The word “A sound mind is in a sound body” comes from me.  I assured him to arrange his home in a proper way in order to increase productivity.

On Sunday I went to his home and 2 days back I made a checklist of home décor furniture and send to him via whats app. We meet and start working on our action plan on designing a functional and stylish home.

I set up a sofa cum bed furniture in the middle of the living room and in front of this, I brought a small dining table. After cleaning his floor we use floral mattress and I advised him to open the window so that sunlight enters the house.

Wall corner shelf 

The Akash’s flat was full of small household items so I took a hammer and screws and set wall corner shelf. There was an item like keys, ring, remote, etc. occupied on that shelf.

A Buddha canvas painting hanged on the middle of the wall on the living room and it gives peace.

Now, everything was set up and Akash thanked me. A few days back I see the happy face of him he told that he is doing much better in his work and my tips worked.
